I would never use this company or recommend them to anyone else.
Central air system stopped blowing cold. I called up Peregrine. Their tech replaced a part and claimed it was fixed. The system still didn’t work. Called them back, they came out and told me the compressor was locked up, couldn’t possibly be repaired, and it would be $4900(!) to replace. I called an HVAC company from Argos for a second opinion. Within 2 minutes of taking the cover off their tech showed me where the Peregrine tech had connected the compressor to the wrong terminals so it wasn’t getting any power. He switched the terminals and the system has worked perfectly ever since.
Very friendly as soon as I called to see when they could come do an estimate. Came out that day, very professional and was way cheaper then any other estimate we had gotten. Cory even came out after hours to go over everything with us to get it all going! I would recommend very Highly!!
Peregrine was professional and answered all our questions. They offered options. George was our installer and he was very professional as well. When he was done, he reviewed everything with me. The installation looks great -- inside and out. He cleaned up afterwards and we are very pleased with everyone that was working on our project.
Always get a second opinion.
I called twice about getting a quote on a new geothermal unit and never received a call back. I reasoned that this must be indicative of their service and took my business (and money) elsewhere, even though I felt the product was not as good. Too bad Peregrine is the only Waterfurnace dealer in the area.
Ok... So... WOW! Im not a review type of guy, but this company really deserves one! I really didn't want to throw money into a new heating and cooling system. But always having to fill up furnace oil 2-3 times a year, and having to recharge my A/C unit outside during every summer, it was just time. I happened to be at the Plymouth house/home show, and came across their booth. So I stopped and talked to a nice guy named Cory Seeders. This guy was very easy to talk to, wasn't pushy at all, and answered all of my questions to the T! I was very impressed. So after a couple months went by, Cory had called to check up on me. He didn't bug me every day like most sales people do. After answering more of my questions, I simply invited him out to my house to give me an estimate. Very professional. Took his shoes off when he entered my home, and asked me where he can put his equipment so it would be out of the way. He ran a couple tests testing for Carbon monoxide, ect. Long story short, the day that Cory Seeders left my home, he quickly called me with the cost of a new Heating/Cooling Unit. That came with a very small system for my basement that takes up as much room as a suit case, a new unit for outside my home, and even a touch screen thermostat. You want to talk about stupid crazy affordable for everything that I received!!!! Install was very quick and STILL, very professional. Cory came out with his installation professionals, and made sure everything was up to par! He took the time to come out the very next day and show me how to work everything. Not to mention all the benefits and warranties that came with everything that I had received. I will refer anyone I know, or even a stranger that I hear is looking for Heating/Cooling maintenance, or looking for a new system!
I confronted Peregrine about this and they told me the owner would contact me (he hasn’t) and that I wouldn’t have to pay for the service (they cashed my check anyway).
