Sept 2016- The place was helpful, (there can always be improvement, in anything in life). But all in all, it was helpful. It ended up being a life changing experience, for all involved. I'm thankful this place was here for my family when we needed it. There are not many places like this, in this area. Any problems we encountered was usually due to miscommunication, or lack there of. But in the end, with hard work from all parties involved, it was a positive life changing experience. Thank You for your help!!
This place is a joke!! Do not take your children there!! My stepdaughter has been in and out of here and they have not helped her at all. They blame everyone else for her not getting better. Maybe if you had actual dr's there instead of the quacks you find off the street maybe kids could get the help they need. This place should be shut down!!
Well this is review 2, this week consisted of nothing crazy. The RTC boy's unit has a plant now thanks to Becca, Becca is the lady who runs everything, at first you think she will hit you if your not good but thats just a facade she's actual really good at working with the peoples and patients we had an outing to Walmart which was cool because we got Bens pretzels and we bought other stuff. Teshawn has barley been at work because he's terified of loosing a game. Plus Mike the ceo gave me a life saver from his desk, I'd honestly wanted one from like the first week I was their. Finally their is the teacher Sarah who got me a pink spade and rake thing to garden after the school which is great. But I've got another 5-7 weeks now and now I'm gonna miss a trip not happy about that. Another 3 star week
If you want to go somewhere the people seem genuine and don't treat you like a number, look elsewhere. Filthy facility. Nasty people. Best luck to all the patients who are in there and I hope they are getting a good experience.
My son voluntarily was admitted into Michiana. When I asked for his records (that I had to pay $20 for) I found many inconsistencies and some out right lies. It stated that he spoke to the staff about that things NEVER happened. It stated that he took a medication and how well it worked for him that he did not take while staying there. I would not recommend this facility to ANYONE! If someone needs help, PLEASE take them somewhere else that can help them! I would recommend Community North in Indy. They might not tell you what you want to hear, but they are honest and do try to help.
I volunteered to come here. Awful experience. There were feces on the men's toilet in the lobby bathroom. Staff was so rude and short with me that I decided against going here for treatment.
Don't go here.
They proceeded to quarantine me in a room for 40 minutes. before signing a paper I didn't have to sign.
Unfortunate that 0 stars isn't an option.
