My favorite thing about this place is by far the people...the locals, travelers, everyone that comes in and out of those doors and the ones that work there especially. They are genuine, down to earth, good hearted people with homegrown hospitality. They really do treat strangers like friends and friends like family. They certainly made me feel right at home and like a member of their family and they quickly became part of mine. That is the best part about this Bob Evans..it really is a family. I imagine this is exactly how Bob himself probably intended it! Sure its true ticket times may take longer when it is busy or while short staffed and there may be other service issues from time to time like anywhere else but what is important is that we are grateful for the time we get to spend with our family and that we just enjoy what time we have left !!

This is an awesome Bob Evans. Servers were polite and immediate and covered for each other when busy. Perfect place for breakfast or family meal.
After traveling for almost 3 hours coming back from a work trip, this was our last stop before home. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. Our waitress was terrible. Never checked on us and could not figure out our order. I got the new parm chicken dinner with green beans on the side. The green beans were ok but my chicken was not cooked all the way and the broccoli was not cooked at all. She said I got a bread with my dinner, so I decided on pumpkin bread..never got it. My co-workers chicken was not cooked all the way and was cold. We ordered an appetizer, candied bacon, only to find out 15 min later that they were out. This was the 4th time she had to come back to our table to get our order right cause she couldn't figure out what she was doing. So while we thought we were waiting on our appetizer really our order still had not been placed at all. My bill came to 14 and some change, and my co-workers 12 and change...which we basically paid an ass load of money to get terrible service and drink 2 cups of coffee and still walk out just as hungry as when we walked in!! By the time we got our food we were so done and wanted to leave. We both only took 1 bite of our chicken and that was it. Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE.
I stopped in this Bob Evans restaurant on a Saturday afternoon with my family. We were hankering for some nice southern food (even though Indiana is in the north! LOL!). The staff was very friendly and attentive.
I could not decide on whether I wanted breakfast or lunch so imagine my surprise when I saw "chicken & waffles" on the menu! I've never heard of such a strange combination so I asked the waitress if this was a Bob Evans delicacy, but it turns out they are not the only restaurant to serve this strange pairing of food. As an adventurous man, I just had to give it a go! The flavors were very different but they worked together well! Who would've thought that salty and sweet would work well together. I finish my review as I sip my beverage out of a jar and must say I am a satisfied customer!
Had to wait for 30min for an egg on a biscuit and some chicken strips. Should have just went home and cooked, would have been quicker and cheaper.
