Also, when confronting the guy about this issue, he acted like fixing it was not their priority and he had no idea how long it would take for them to fix it.
I called looking to purchase ethernet jacks, wall mount faceplates, and 100' of cable. I got the parts, and went to do the cable run. I then discovered that the faceplates were keyed and the heads were not. I wound up at Lowes where I bought the same parts for two thirds the cost.
Finally a store that provides the materials needed by those of us who build our own computers.
I had to order the parts to bracket it myself, and have been out a computer for the entire first week of grad school classes, and probably next week as well. I am very disappointed with this service.
It is sort of a chore to drive all the way out there, but they are the only ones in the area that actually have SATA (Serial ATA) cords in stock. Staples, Circuit City, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, RadioShack, and Meijer all sell hard drives and cd drives that need these cords, but all of them sell the cables online only, where shipping costs as much as the cable does.
Absolutely terrible service. I needed my hard drive replaced with one that has more memory. They replaced my hard drive... WITHOUT a bracket. The new hard drive was loose in my computer, subject to damage and loss of data. They knowingly returned my laptop (without telling me) and charged the price of the hard drive as well as approximately $60 for labor or whatever. Really? Do your job properly. This is not okay.
Started at one price and double before I received my laptop back. I would not refer them for any Pc work. Sorry but truth :(
